Hospital Physician means a medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy licensed by the United States to prescribe drugs in the practice of medicine. Hospital physician is a doctor who specializes in internal medicine that is, in diseases of the body not usually associated with the need for surgery. The training requirements to become a physician are demanding and require many years of education. Physicians work long hours and spend most to their time walking or on their feet.
